SafeCheck is operated by Montgomery, located in Powell, Wyoming. Our website is available at safecheck.ai1offs.com. SafeCheck helps homeowners look up contractor safety records using publicly available OSHA inspection data.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide our service.

Search queries. When you search for a contractor, we store the search query (company name) to deliver results and improve search quality. Search data is retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted.

Payment information. If you purchase a report, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. Stripe provides us with a transaction ID and the last four digits of your card for receipt purposes.

Hashed IP addresses. We hash your IP address for rate limiting purposes to prevent abuse. The hash is a one-way function — we cannot reverse it to recover your actual IP address.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, and does not collect personal data. Plausible is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No consent banner is needed because no cookies are set.

Cookies

SafeCheck does not use cookies. We do not set first-party tracking cookies, third-party cookies, or advertising cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless. Stripe may set cookies on its own domain during the payment process, which is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

We use the following third-party services:

Data Sharing and Sales

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not build advertising profiles. The only data sharing that occurs is with the third-party services listed above, strictly for the purpose of providing our service.

Data Retention

Search query data is retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted. Payment transaction records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations. Hashed IP data used for rate limiting is retained for 24 hours.

Your Rights

Because we collect minimal data and do not use cookies or tracking, there is very little personal data associated with your use of SafeCheck. Children's Privacy

SafeCheck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
